In Jan 2017, some of our association’s members spent New Year’s holidays in Christchurch, we gathered beautiful outdoor, and enjoined social activity, others took holidays in overseas.

Vision of NZ Photo Exhibition in Wuhan China 视觉 新西兰 大型摄影展览在武汉隆重举行

In honour the 10th anniversary of the sister city relationship between Christchurch and Wuhan

武汉与基督城姊妹城市十周年系列文化交流庆典活动的续篇

 

The vision of NZ was held at Zhuoer Art Gallery, Wuhan China 16-22 Dec 2016.

This exhibition is a reciprocal culture exchange event of Chinese Art Exhibition held in April 2016 at the University of Canterbury.  Over a hundred outstanding works have been presented by Christchurch Photograph Society for the Wuhan exhibition.

今年是武汉市与基督城建立姊妹城市10周年，中新双方共同努力，为此举办了一系列庆典活动。早在4月，刘英姿副市长率武汉市政府代表团访问基督城并出席了 “翰墨丹青舞大洋”大型中国画展开幕式，开启了庆典、纪念活动的序幕。时值2016年末，新西兰大型摄影展是新中文化交流系列庆典活动的回展与续篇，将两市结为姊妹城市10周年系列文化交流活动推向高潮！

基督城摄影协会精心挑选出百余幅优秀作品，向姊妹城市武汉人民展示了新西兰人眼中的中国和新西兰的人文、风貌，真正实现了文化交流。

Over a hundred distinguished guests gathered at the grand opening ceremony at Zhuoer Art Gallery Wuhan 16 Dec, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the sister city relationship between Christchurch and Wuhan. During the grand opening ceremony, guests enjoyed the lovely NZ wine, western classical music, and NZ photographer’s excellent works at the Vision of NZ exhibition.
开幕式期间，嘉宾们品尝着新西兰美味葡萄酒，聆听着西洋玄乐四重奏，观赏杰作，陶冶情操。
Living in an environment full of sunshine and water, nourished with love, warm is felt in the heart and eyes of Kiwi people. The mountains and rivers in the lens, local customs, urban rhythm and life interest is a touching true feeling, such as James Gibson’s voyage, John Thornton’s Boundary line, Newell Grenfell’s Maori’s feast. Photography with heart and love to catch every moment that belongs to human and nature, like the flow of poetry and solidified music notes, moved the world, tell everyone a diverse world full of romantic and memorable. Especially, the works of New Zealand photographer taken in China is a blend of different cultural background’s vision and view of the world, also is the new interpretation of NZ-Sino people’s life and friendship.

生活在一个充满阳光雨露和用爱滋润的环境里，人们心、眼中感受的一切，都是那样的温暖，表现在镜头里的山川河流、风土人情、都市节奏、生活情趣等，都是感人至深的真情流露，如: James Gibson的《远航》、John Thornton的《界线》、Newe Grenfell的《毛利盛餐》。其中有在国际和新西兰国内摄影大赛中的金奖作品，她代表着新西兰当代摄影创作的新风格、新意境。摄影家们用自己的心和情去捕捉属于人类和大自然的每一个瞬间，似流动的诗，又似凝固的音符，感动着整个世界；用不同的角度和感受，告诉大家一个充满情怀和让人眷念的大千世界。展出的作品内容丰富，题材广泛。尤其是新西兰摄影家在中国拍摄的部分作品，融合了不同文化背景下对世界的审视，也是对中新两国人民生活与友谊的新解读。

这次摄影展由武汉市外事侨务办公室主办，武汉市海外交流协会、新西兰湖北经贸文化协会承办，武汉卓尔美术馆、武汉红与黑文化实业公司和新西兰基督城摄影家协会协办。由新西兰湖北经贸文化协会常务副会长 秦工 博士策划。

A photo worth thousands words, act as universal language to enhance the understanding of the people and their life. The exhibition has promoted effective culture exchange between Kiwi and Chinese people.

一张图像内含千百文句，而图像的寓意不受语言的障碍方能表达。这是一种无声的能量，以图像传情，将新中两国人民的心联系起来了。

Thousands of people visited this exhibition during 16 ~ 22 Dec 2016 with passion and interest.  The event has been reported in Wuhan and Hubei media.

12月16~22日展出期间，数千名武汉观众络绎不绝，叹为观止，不仅加深了武汉市民对新西兰文化和基督城市民生活的认识和了解，而且通过新西兰人在中国拍摄的作品欣赏他们视野中的中国人文风貌。

It was a positive step forward in the co-operation of economy, trade and culture exchange between two countries.

自1996年武汉和基督城结为姊妹城市以来，两市在经贸、教育、农业、科技和环保等多领域的合作有着丰硕的成果。随着 “一带一路” 国策的实施，开启了共同繁荣的新篇章。

湖北省、武汉市的媒体分别报导和宣传了这次有意义的大型文化交流活动，拟推动两市人民友谊的发展，促进两国经贸合作。

NZ Photos Exhibited in Enshi Hubei Successfully 新西兰优秀摄影作品在湖北恩施隆重展出

In 23~28 Sep 2016, our association organised a NZ delegation attended the Third Expo at the World Selenium Capital, Enshi and the opening ceremony of “Vision of NZ” Photo Exhibition there. Enshi vice governor Mrs XiaoYian Chen made a speech, representatives from NZ Hubei Economy Trade Culture Association, NZ Christchurch Photograph Society have made speech at the opening ceremony as well.

The Photo Exhibition was hosted by Enshi Selenium Products Expo, co-organised by: NZ Hubei Economy Trade Culture Association, Christchurch Photograph Society, Enshi Foreigner Affaire Office, Enshi Literary Media Publication bureau, Enshi photograph Association, planed by Dr Gong Qin, Executive Vice President of NZ Hubei Economy Trade Culture Association.

Over a hundred high quality works of Christchurch photographers were exhibited at this Photo Exhibition/Culture exchange event, attracted thousands visitors to view, and added international culture element in the great occasion. This event has been reported by many Chinese publicities media channels in China and Christchurch, it is the excellent way to promote NZ Culture and people’s life.

Art has no boundary between nations. The exhibition has created a platform to exchange West and East visions and culture, to enhance understanding and friendship. This was a best gift to Enshi followed sister cities agreement signed in May 2016 with Waimakariri NZ with our association’s help. It was a positive step forward in the co-operation of economy, trade and culture exchange between two nations.

2016年9月23 ~ 28日，由第三届世界硒都（恩施）硒产品博览会组委会主办，新西兰湖北经贸文化协会副会长秦工博士策划，新西兰湖北经贸文化协会、新西兰基督城摄影协会、恩施州外侨局、恩施州文体新闻出版广电局、恩施州摄影协会联合协办的<<视觉.新西兰>> — 基督城优秀摄影作品展，在恩施州文化中心首次开展！来自中国及世界各地参加硒博会的政府官员、企业家代表、嘉宾以及当地市民数千人，参加了当天的开幕式并观赏了来自白云深处故乡的摄影作品，领略了南半球新西兰人的视觉艺术。在摄影展开幕式上，恩施州陈晓燕副州长致辞，新西兰湖北经贸文化协会、基督城摄影协会等代表分别致辞。

由新西兰基督城摄影协会精选出的百余幅优秀作品，题材丰富，写实生动，目光独特、扣人心弦。摄影家们用自己的心和情去感受世界，捕捉人类和大自然的点滴，记录缤纷的生活瞬间；尤其是他们在中国的摄影，从不同的视觉来解读中国文化和风土人情，妙趣横生。

中国新闻网、新华网、楚天网、湖北经视、湖北日报、恩施日报、恩施电视台、恩施新闻网等众多媒体对此次摄影展作了详细报道，盛赞这次摄影展是一次“搭建文化交流平台的活动，用生动画面展示新西兰风情” 的友谊传递，不是语言胜似语言，是硒博会国际文化元素新的篇章。

此前，在新西兰湖北经贸文化协会的推动和引荐下，恩施州与怀马可里里地区已于今年5月签订了建立国际姊妹城市关系的协议书，标志着两地经贸文化的合作与交流进入了实质性发展的新阶段。此次新西兰摄影作品展的成功举办，实现了以“文化促交流，以合作促共赢”的发展理念，迈开了双边友好与往来的新步伐，它将促进两地多领域的交流与合作。

“视觉·新西兰”摄影作品展在恩施州文化中心开幕

恩施日报讯（记者谭琼辉）9月23日上午，在第三届世界硒都（恩施）硒产品博览交易会开幕后，“视觉·新西兰”摄影作品展在文化中心隆重开幕，来自州内外的客人参加了开幕仪式，并参观了作品展。副州长陈晓燕出席开幕式并致辞。

新西兰基督城摄影家协会主席保罗先生说，非常感谢有机会参加在恩施举办的“视觉·新西兰”摄影展，既增强了两国人民的交流，也促进了两国人民的感情。除了参加硒博会和摄影展之外，他还非常期待大峡谷之行，希望能把恩施的美景带回新西兰。

新西兰湖北经贸文化协会副会长周阳在致辞中说，这次摄影展不仅是一次艺术展，也是给两市人民友好交流搭建的一个平台，让两地市民通过影像来代替语言，增进了解，交流感情，加深友谊，巩固两市和两国间可持续的经贸合作与发展的基础。

副州长陈晓燕致辞说，恩施州与新西兰的友好交往发展势头良好，两地虽然远隔万里，在风土人情、自然资源等方面存在差异，但两地在许多领域有着较强的互补性，合作和交流的空间十分广阔。尤其是今年5月我州与新西兰坎特伯雷大区怀马卡里里市签订了《建立国际姊妹城市关系协议书》，更是标志着两地之间的交流合作进入了一个实质性发展阶段。“视觉·新西兰”摄影作品展，既是两地间开展国际交流的一次文化盛宴，也是开启两地间经贸、科技、教育等其他领域合作交流的起点和契机，不仅有助于增进两地文化艺术交流，也将激发两地开拓各领域交流合作的兴趣。

据悉，此次摄影作品展由第三届世界硒都（恩施）硒产品博览交易会组委会主办，恩施州外事侨务局、新西兰湖北经贸文化协会、新西兰摄影家协会、新西兰中国姊妹城市委员会、恩施州文化体育新闻出版广电局和恩施州摄影家协会协办，共展出了30位新西兰摄影师的103幅作品。
